On our way to Fort William, Phil and the boys spent the night at Bridge of Orchy ... a small stop that Phil had been at 5 years earlier while hiking the West Highland Way. It was really spooky walking from the train station in complete darkness a couple of hundred yards with the kids to the hotel which is the only business there. Dating back to 1751, this bridge was built by the English as they built military roads and a route into Scotland from the Lowlands to the more remote parts. It is still standing and used by people and cars ... now that's quality workmanship!
This is a beautiful area and in the morning Phil & Harrison snapped some cool photos of the hills through a spider web with morning dew on it. Later on we caught a morning bus to Fort William which gave us amazing views of the Rannoch area and little towns along the way.
