A Canadian / Celtic Thanksgiving

Well we certainly have lots of things to be thankful for (particulary family, friends, and health) and carrying on past traditions we had a big dinner party for Canadian thanksgiving (admittedly a week late) and in celebration of the autumn harvest as winter approaches. We hosted a wonderful dinner with some of our neighbours along with some of Harriet's classmates. It was quite international with people from countries including Ireland, Italy, and Spain. Phil cooked a great turkey, many other dishes to accompany it, and provided a selection of wines paired with our meal. It was a fun evening and the first "thanksgiving" for many of our guests since it isn't an observed holiday / tradition here on this side of the Atlantic.

We wish the best to everyone reading this and encourage you to consider good things in your lives to be grateful for.

The turkey looks yummy and your pictures are great. Good to see you making the most of your time there.
