First Visitors from the Great White North

Last Sunday we were happy and pleased to be able to invite my colleague Jewel and her husband Greg over for dinner. Jewel and her husband were in the UK to visit their son who is just starting a Master's degree in Oxford. They were kind enough to add a visit with us to their plans. We were very excited to catch up on news from home and hope they are the first of many visitors we will have. As usual, Phil wowed everyone with a fantastic meal of prime rib ( I add this detail to entice other potential visitors!) Afterwards, we all went for a little walk around the neighbourhood to show them some of the interesting sites near our home. We had a very enjoyable evening and hope that more of our friends will have a chance to visit while we are here!
