A day at the beach ... in February!

Yesteday (Monday, February 18th) was beautiful, warm (about 10 C) and since it was the last day of Harrison's winter term school break I took him and Parker to the coastline and beach at North Berwick. We went by train with a friend of mine and her two children (who like Harrison both have really red hair). It was great and all of the children had fun walking in the sand, climbing on rocks, playing outside, and watching the ocean. It is only about 30 minutes from Edinburgh by train and I am looking forward to going back there with Harriet later in the year.
