It took about an hour to get to the summit on a dubious pathway. It was quite steep in some parts and unfortunately we had Parker in the stroller on the hill which was quite difficult going at some points. Luckily there was a place to ditch it just before our push to the summit which made things a bit easier. From the top we could see beautiful views of the sea, town and surrounding areas. Afterwards we spent some time on the beach and built sandcastles (Parker's favourite activity).

Hiking in North Berwick
Last weekend was a long weekend (bank holiday) and was quite an adventurous one. On Saturday we ventured out to North Berwick. Phil and the boys had been there before, however I had not. It is a picturesque little seaside town east of Edinburgh on the south side of the Firth of Forth. Phil and the boys spent some time exploring the beach areas last time they visited. This time our goal was to climb North Berwick Law. A law is a rounded hill in Scots language.
