Fringe Festival 08
We were fortunate to be in Edinburgh for another year of the Fringe Festival. Some of our favourites were the physical dance/acrobatic shows including the Ceasar Twins - Identical twins that put on an artistic acrobatic show, Alba Flamenca - spanish dancing and music, Balle de Rua - a Brazillian dance, and the Aluminum Show - puppetry and dance bringing all sorts of aluminum objects to life. We also saw a lot of great kids show including a dramatization of the popular children's book The Gruffalo, Potted Pirates and an Interactive Robin Hood show. Harrison also took a couple of acting classes for kids from one of the companies with themes of Pirates of the Carribean and Star Wars - he had a great time. The kids and I also got to see the famous Soweto Gospel Choir to experience some of our own cultural heritage. All in all we saw a lot of great shows and encourage our friends and family to come out next year to experience the festival for themselves!
