It's elementary my dear Watson

Recently I have been on a Sherlock Holmes "kick" and read two of Arthur Conan Doyle's books featuring this super sleuth. I enjoyed reading over the past month The Valley of Fear and A Study in Scarlet. Part of the fascination comes from being in Edinburgh and the connection to this famous author. Arthur Conan Doyle was born in Edinburgh about an 8 minute walk from our flat and he is an alumnus of the University of Edinburgh (upon her convocation, something that Harriet will have in common with him).
