Whisky and Forests

Harriet and I took a day-trip with one of the local companies to tour the Glenturret distillery in Crieff ... some claim this is the oldest scotch distillery in Scotland. While it's interesting to see how scotch is made, neither of us can say that we really enjoy it ... the surrounding countryside however around western Perthshire is beautiful and makes for a great trip. Concluding the day tour was a trip to 'the Hermitage' near Dunkeld which is a beautiful forest walk leading to spectacular waterfalls.
