Christmas visit

Phil's nephew Blake came to spend Christmas with us in the UK. We happily welcomed into our home and showed him many parts of the country including Edinburgh, Dundee, St. Andrews, and Stirling. Blake mentioned being amazed by Edinburgh in particular. We spent a great holiday together and shared many UK traditions (including mince pies, a dram of scotch) and some that we have continued from Canada (mostly in terms of food and mom's Christmas coffee cake). Harriet sewed Scottish tartan stockings for all of us and knitted a hat for Blake (super talented!).
