Climbing the Scott Monument

Wednesday Harrison asked to walk up the Scott Monument in Edinburgh (a tribute to the famous author Sir Walter Scott) so I took him and Parker there (only about a 10 minute walk from our flat). All of us walked the 287 narrow circular stairs to the very top and along the way spectacular views at the 4 different levels. I was pleased Harrison had the idea to do this (many kids are hard to motivate to exercise) and totally impressed with Parker who at just age 2 climbed every single stair on his own (I held his hand for stability but never carried him up).
