Fort William

On Sunday Harrison, Parker and I were in Fort William which is home to Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in Great Britain ... see photo). We were blessed with a warm sunny day and decided to take a boat trip from the local pier. This was a great tour and although we didn't see any seals or dolphins we really enjoyed being on the water and Harrison in particular raved about getting to drive the boat for a few moments ... a big thrill to be sure! While Parker slept the entire time he was on a boat in Inverness a month ago, this time he was fully awake and was wide-eyed with the new experience. We were treated to some highland hospitality as the captain was hosting a group from his church community on our tour and they invited us to join them for food and drinks.
