Camping in Comrie

Towards late September we went camping west of Perth in Comrie. We had a great time as it was the first time having a proper camp fire in the more than two years we have been here ... most campgrounds don't allow it. The Comrie Croft is a really cool place with options to stay indoors in a bunkhouse or outdoors ... we chose the latter and spent the night in a forested tent pitch section. Of course we gave our boys the full experience with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate!

The next day we drove to Dunkeld and had a picnic by the river ... really charming. Had a short hike in the Hermitage nearby where we saw powerful waterfalls. On the way home we stopped off in Perth for supper ... an awesome weekend.
