A family vacation to Germany

Because the primary school year starts earlier here in Scotland than in Canada, they get more vacation. Harrison has a fortnight (2 weeks) off in October so we took the first week to travel together to Germany (we got a sweetheart of a deal with Ryanair). We returned (this time with Harriet) to the Rhineland area that the boys visited in summer of 2008. We had a great time there with highlights being cruising on the Rhine, hiking, and a ride up/down a small mountain/high hill by cable car. For the last few days we travelled to Frankfurt. We went to a great zoo, enjoyed eating Frankfurters (hot dogs) in Frankfurt, and went to a museum of archaeology.
